SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Christmas will unofficially arrive in Savannah by the end of this week.
A tree lighting ceremony will be held on Broughton Street this Friday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. This is the third year since the tree was brought back to the corner of Broughton and Bull Street.
Just like years prior, there will be singing, storytelling, and Christmas celebrations before, during and after the tree lighting.
Due to the tree being in the middle of Bull Street, the road will be closed between Broughton and Congress streets beginning Tuesday, Nov. 20 and lasting until Thursday, Jan. 3.
