A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM.
Widespread dense fog, and in some cases near zero visibility, are forecast to linger through mid-morning before significant improvement. Plan extra time into your morning driving and leave extra space between your vehicle and the vehicle driving in front of you.
Morning temperatures remain in the 60s. Fog is forecast to give way to a mostly cloudy sky by mid to late morning. Temperatures in the 70s, to near 80°, are expected this afternoon. There is only an isolated chance of a brief shower through New Year’s Eve festivities.
Evening temperatures cool back into the 60s as dense fog redevelops. Drive extra carefully after sunset. Like this morning, low visibility may linger for several hours Tuesday morning. A very similar temperature pattern remains in-place Tuesday.
The chance of widespread wetter weather returns Thursday and lasts through Friday as a cold front approaches.
This weekend is forecast to be much cooler and sunnier!
