Clouds, Spring-Like Warmth Continue

An unseasonably warm, unsettled weather pattern remains anchored in-place across the southeastern United States.

Under a mostly cloudy sky, temperatures are quite warm this morning; in the low to mid-60s. Areas of dense fog remain possible through the morning commute. However, fog remains less widespread than Monday morning.

With some cloud cover lingering, temperatures warm into the lower 70s by noon. Plan on a high temperature in the upper 70s, to near 80°, today away from the beach. Island temperatures remain in the 60s this afternoon.

The chance of rain is isolated today. The odds of getting a quick shower is greatest, but still not certain, within an area stretching from Emanuel County, Georgia, to Hampton County, South Carolina.

A chance of rain increases Thursday and Friday ahead of an approaching cold front. While severe weather is unlikely, a couple gusty thunderstorms are possible midday Friday.

And, behind the cold front? We finally clear out! Slightly cooler, gorgeous, weather is expected this weekend.

Happy New Year,

Cutter
