Warmer Sunday with Scattered Showers

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Cloud cover continues into this evening with temperatures in the mid 50s, so you might need a light jacket if you have plans! The wind shifts from easterly to southerly overnight with warmer air holding our lows near 50 degrees. Scattered light showers will move in from the west early Sunday morning, expanding toward the coast throughout the morning into the early afternoon. It will be noticeably warmer with highs in the mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies. The showers exit by early evening, with temperatures still near 60 degrees at sunset.

Cooler air moves back in for Monday morning with lows in the lower 40s and highs only in the low to mid 50s. Highs are back above average, in the low to mid 60s Wednesday through Friday. There is a slight chance for showers early Friday morning, but there is a much better chance late Saturday into Sunday for this coming weekend.
