Seasonably chilly, drier weather is building into the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry.
Under a mostly cloudy sky, temperatures are in the mid to upper 40s this morning; cooling into the lower 40s in a few spots. A breeze may make it feel a bit chillier through the morning commute.
The temperature warms to near 50° at noon and peaks in the mid to upper 50s this afternoon. While cloudy, the chance of rain remains near zero through the day. If we can thin clouds just enough, we may actually be treated to a wonderful sunset between 5 and 6 p.m.
The forecast is chilly this evening after sunset, under at least some clouds. Dress for the temperature cooling into the 40s, quickly, after 6 p.m.
Clearer, chillier weather builds in tomorrow and Wednesday. A chance of rain increases late in the work-week and weekend; peaking Sunday as a cold front moves through.
