SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A new Special Event Ordinance could be in the works for the city of Savannah.
The Office of Special Events, Film and Tourism is starting the process of creating a new ordinance to change how the city permits events.
Savannah is a popular destination for festivals, runs, weddings and films, but every event impacts local homeowners and business owners differently.
That’s why the office wants your feedback. A community feedback meeting is being held Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center.
If you are unable to make it to the meeting, the city of Savannah has made a survey available online. You can fill out that survey by clicking here.
