TATTNALL COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - The final dress rehearsal for the 2019 Tattnall Productions Musical Show was held Thursday night.
The event raises money for local charities. It’s a tradition for plenty of people, especially the local performers who are everyday people who love music and love their community.
Tattnall County Productions has been around for 16 years and has included dozens of local folks of all ages who enjoy performing. Organizers of the show donate the proceeds to a range of local causes. This year, that stretches from the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire to the drama departments of some local high schools.
“Over the years, we’ve given back almost $300,000 to local causes and charities here in Tattnall County, Liberty, Evans and Long counties,” said Mark Thompson, Tattnall County Productions.
You can still get tickets Friday and Saturday’s shows at the Glennville Auditorium. Friday night’s show will be held at 7 p.m. There will be shows both 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
WTOC’s Bureau Chief Dal Cannady will be the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
