To put it, not so, simply – there is something for everyone in the first alert forecast this week.
Our work-week begins with clouds, patchy fog and a few showers Monday morning. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 50s in most spots; warmer than it should be this time of day and year. A light jacket is all that is needed.
Scattered showers are in the forecast until, around, noon followed by drier conditions and a bit of sunshine around the area this afternoon. Temperatures are forecast to peak in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Tuesday begins with areas of dense fog and very mild weather. It’s possible that Tuesday morning’s drive could take a bit longer with lower visibility factored in.
A cold front sweeps through Tuesday afternoon with scattered rain. A weak storm, or two, is possible Tuesday afternoon and evening.
GOOD NEWS – The forecast clears out, becomes dry and cools off Wednesday and Valentine’s Day. The forecast looks good for any holiday plans!
But, the dry weather doesn’t last long. A wetter weather system arrives Friday ahead of the next cool down. You can get a look at radar, and updates from the team, in the WTOC Weather App.
Have a great day,
