Cooler, Sunnier Wednesday!

Following near-record warmth, changes have arrived in the first alert forecast.

Cool and cloudy conditions prevail this morning with a few sprinkles and lingering very light rain showers. However, moisture is forecast to push offshore as sunshine increases from west, to east, after sunrise. Sunshine becomes widespread along the coast around mid-morning.

Temperatures cool into the 40s and lower 50s between 7 and 8 a.m. However, it feels cooler with a gusty breeze factored in. A temp in the upper 50s and lower 60s is forecast this afternoon; warmest 1:30 and 3 p.m.

Winds remain sustained between 10 and 20 MPH, with occasional gusts to near 30 MPH.

Cooler air lingers through Valentine’s Day morning, when there could be some frost! But, we’ll warm to near 70° Thursday afternoon.

Warmer, slightly wetter, weather returns heading into the weekend and next week.

Have a wonderful day,

Cutter
