SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Skidaway Island was packed with people shopping Tuesday night.
All the money spent will go to two good causes.
For the eighth year in a row, Market at 3 West Ridge is continuing St. Peter’s outreach tradition of volunteering. This year, the market is helping raise money for HUGS and Family Promise of Greater Savannah. For over 21 years, they have raised money for different charities all over Savannah. In that time, they have raised $1.37 million.
“Well last year, we raised $68,000 that was split between two charities. This year, we hope HUGS and Family Promise, our two charities of this year’s market, will get more than that," said Wyndie Eberle, Co-chair, Market at West 3 Ridge.
If you didn’t make it out on Tuesday, they still have two more days. Wednesday, they’ll be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They’ll also be open on Valentine’s Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
