SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Truman Parkway that caused serious injuries Friday morning.
Police say a 47-year-old woman was driving a Ford Explorer, traveling north in the left lane of northbound Truman Parkway approaching the Eisenhower Drive exit. Preliminary investigation revealed Holmes lost control of the vehicle, causing it to enter the grass median separating the northbound and southbound lanes of Truman Parkway. Police say the vehicle slid sideways and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop.
Police say the driver and two others sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. They say a one-year-old baby boy was also in the vehicle, but was not injured.
The Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating.
