Weather Changes - Warmer, Cloudier Pattern Developing

The weather pattern is undergoing big changes across the southeastern United States; warmer, cloudier and eventually wetter weather is in the outlook.

The temperature warms into the 60s before noon. Temps peak in the upper 60s well north of Savannah, around 70° in town and in the 72° to 74° range further south, southwest.

The sky is forecast to remain mostly cloudy through the day; some filtered sunshine.

Heading into the weekend, get ready for a cloudier stretch of weather. Mornings are forecast to remain “warm” for this time of year, with afternoons spent in the 70s. Though, beaches remain cooler. A few showers roam the area Saturday and Sunday. However, this weekend will not feature widespread rain or the type of rain that’ll have you cancelling plans altogether.

A greater chance of showers, and perhaps a weak thunderstorm, enters the forecast early next week.

Remember, you can always grab an updated forecast in the WTOC Weather App as you’re out and about Saturday and Sunday.

Have a great day,
