EFFINGHAM, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia State Patrol has identified two people who were killed in a wreck over the weekend in Effingham County.
It happened around 11:25 a.m. Sunday morning on Highway 80 near Key Road.
GSP has identified the two victims as 39-year-old Durwood Haire, of Savannah, and 39-year-old Kathleen Wilson, of Pembroke.
Troopers say Haire’s vehicle crossed the center line and ran into Wilson’s vehicle.
A 10-year-old girl who was a passenger in Wilson’s vehicle was injured and transported to Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries. There is update on her condition at this time.
Highway 80 at Key Road has since reopened to traffic.
GSP continues to investigate.
