Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to arrive in Savannah on Friday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -The Coast Guard's Cutter Eagle ship is scheduled to arrive in Savannah this Friday.

The Eagle is 295 feet long and will be docked near River Street. The Coast Guard says it is the largest tall-ship flying the stars and stripes.

It’s also the only active-square rigger in U.S. government. It will be open for tours this weekend starting Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The tours on Saturday and Sunday will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
