SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah’s annual Earth Day Festival will be held this Saturday, April 20, and for the first time it’s taking place at Daffin Park.
Organizers say hosting the event at Daffin will attract more people from nearby neighborhoods and offer more parking.
The festival is the city's largest environmental outreach event of the year. The theme this year is "Protect our Species." The goal is to promote the protection of endangered species within the state of Georgia.
There will be free workshops, live music, food and plenty of activities for all ages.
The festival will run from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Daffin Park.
