...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSONVILLE HAS ISSUED A HIGH
SURF ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING.

* WAVES AND SURF...ROUGH POUNDING SURF OF 6 TO 8 FEET IS EXPECTED
TODAY...DECREASING EARLY THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...STRONG ONSHORE WINDS WILL CREATE A HIGH RISK OF RIP

THIS EVENING. BEACH GOERS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION IF ENTERING
THE SURF.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS.

RIP CURRENTS ARE POWERFUL CHANNELS OF WATER FLOWING QUICKLY AWAY
FROM SHORE...WHICH OCCUR MOST OFTEN AT LOW SPOTS OR BREAKS IN THE
