Sea breeze front more active this afternoon for our Georgia coast penetrating inland, setting the stage for more locally heavy late-day thunderstorms. Be patient children; the holiday weekend will be fabulous!
Inland areas are a little more stable today so the sea breeze front will have to do most of the work. That means less risk of thunder, but a greater risk of locally heavy rainfall. Showers have been heavy across the city so far. -- Big John
