SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Omicron chapter of Armstrong Atlantic State University's Kappa Sigma fraternity is hosting their first Shave to Save Day.

They're shaving their heads for breast cancer awareness and raising money for breast cancer research. Donations will go to the American Cancer Society.

President of the Kappa Sigma Omicron chapter, Drew Wilson, says they're hoping to make Shave to Save an annual statewide event.

"We have a chapter in columbus state," said Wilson. "They called and asked if we would get on board. We got everything rolling and here we are."
