BRISTOL, GA (WTOC) - The weather that threatened all day Wednesday wound up doing some damage. We found trouble in Appling County in the Bristol community near Baxley.
High winds hit a mobile home on Antioch Church Road, throwing the trailer the length of a football field, with a couple still inside.
EMT's found the couple, Albert and Barbara Bryant, on the ground and took them to a hospital in Appling County. Emergency personnel tell WTOC the Bryants are expected to be ok.
It's still unclear whether this was caused from high winds or something else such as a tornado. Thursday, the National Weather Service will be in Bristol to figure that out.
Also, just a few miles down the road, two more trailers were damaged by the storm but we're told those trailers were unoccupied.
