
HAMPTON COUNTY, SC (WTOC) - Three suspects charged in connection with the home invasion, shooting and kidnapping of an elderly Miley, South Carolina have been denied bond.
Officials say 78-year-old Margaret Gooding was kidnapped from her home early Monday morning after being shot by two of the suspects, who had used a brick to break into her home while a third suspect waited outside.
Gooding was found alive inside the trunk of her car 12 hours later in Walterboro, South Carolina, 25 miles away from home.
She has been recovering in the hospital since Monday evening and is to expected to return home soon.

Investigators say 30-year-old Stevie Aiken, 29-year-old Derrick Ladel Aiken and 48-year-old Nathaniel Harris were all arrested in connection with the case on various charges.

The three were in court Wednesday and were denied bond by Judge Carolyn during their arraignment.
Stevie Aiken is charged with burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery with intent to kill, grand larceny, felon in possession of a weapon and armed robbery.
Harris is also charged with burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery with intent to kill, grand larceny, felon in possession of a weapon and armed robbery.
Derrick Aiken is charged with accessory before and after the fact.
The case will now head to the Hampton County General Sessions Court.
