POOLER, GA (WTOC) - Fifty boy and girl scouts hung out at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum Saturday afternoon in Pooler.
The group was learning more about aviation to earn their merit badges.
Companies like Gulfstream and Sheltair Aviation were on hand to tell them more about the different planes and various career opporotunites available within aviation.
"There's a lot of range with aviation," said Gulfstream senior manager Jerry Fish. "It really touches a lot of lives. We just want to be able to share that with the young men and women. Hopefully get them excited and maybe one day they'll work in the field."
The young students were also given an opporotunity to fly with flight instructors.
