Jody joined WIS in June 2009 as an investigative reporter after leaving WBTW's Myrtle Beach bureau for the Midlands.
A Hartsville native, Jody graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2005 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Jody is a 1997 Hartsville High School graduate.
After college, Jody worked as a bureau reporter in Lumberton, NC, before making the move to Myrtle Beach. During his time covering the Pee Dee and Grand Strand, Jody has covered events from the Ocean Isle 7 tragedy, hurricanes along the coast, death penalty trials, uncovering government corruption in the Eastern Carolinas, to the Daytona 500.
Outside of work, Jody enjoys spending time with his wife Alison, bass fishing trips to Hartsville's Lake Robinson and working with a newly-established NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team as a spotter.
