SPRINGFIELD, GA (WTOC) - The wife of murder victim Carey Heidt, Robin Heidt, has agreed to cooperate with the District Attorney's Office and can once again live in Effingham County.
Robin Heidt was arrested back in January after investigators say she threatened a witness in her husband's murder case. A judge ordered her to move to Charleston, SC. But because of her recent cooperation, the judge has now ruled Robin Heidt she can move back into her Springfield home.
Craig Heidt is charged with murdering his brother Carey and their father Phillip Heidt in their home on Egypt Road in August 2008.
Jury selection in Craig Heidt's trial is set to start September 27.
