Police Investigate Domestic Dispute
Chatham County police are investigating what appears to be a domestic dispute that turned violent. More >>

A Hunter Army Airfield Ranger is in the Chatham County Jail tonight following an early morning domestic dispute. Officers say 24-year-old Brian Arnall fought with another man over a woman and fired a gun into the ground.

When police showed up, Arnall took off and officers used pepper spray to stop him. Police also found a shotgun in Arnall's truck. Police say two people at the apartment complex were treated for minor injuries.

Arnall is facing several charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
