Police Search for Teen's Killer

Nineteen year old Jennifer Ross was walking home with a friend when three men tried to rob them. Nineteen year old Jennifer Ross was walking home with a friend when three men tried to rob them.

A 19 year old young woman has become Savannah's first homicide victim of 2006. Jennifer Ross was shot Christmas Eve morning during a robbery attempt. She died Sunday night at Memorial Health University from complications of her injuries.

Ross was walking home from a cotillion with a friend around three o'clock Christmas Eve morning when three men tried to rob them at the intersection of Barnard and Perry Street. One of the men hit Ross' friend, Brett Findley, in the head with a handgun. Another tried to grab Ross' purse. She was shot during the struggle.

Savannah Chatham Police still haven't found her attackers. The men were last seen speeding away from the scene in a pewter gray Ford Taurus.
