Brooke Kelley: Reporter

Brooke Kelley joined the WTOC news team in January of 2006 as a general assignment reporter with focus on Education. She spent the last three years at WPBN, a sister station in Traverse City, Michigan, where she covered everything from blizzards to murders as a bureau reporter.

She graduated with honors from Loyola University Chicago in December of 2002, and spent three years as the news director for Loyola's Independent Community radio station WLUW.

She interned at WMAQ, the NBC affiliate in Chicago, and worked with award-winning reporters such as Dr. Deanna Lites and Lisa Parker. She also spent a semester working at WSBT in South Bend, Indiana.

Brooke is a native of Valparaiso, Indiana and attended Culver Girls Academy. She has completed six Chicago Marathons, and plans to continue training for half marathons. You can catch Brooke spending time on the weekends with her wonderful husband Josh, and enjoying the warm sun at the beach with her two loveable boxers Dixie Mae and Max.
