Former Terrorist Speaks Out in Savannah

He once lobbed bombs at Israelis, but Thursday night was welcomed with open arms at the Savannah Jewish Educational Alliance.

Walid Shoebat used to be a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, but in 1993, switched sides.

Now he speaks all over the United States, railing against violence and terrorism.

He says he first started having doubts after bombing an Israeli bank.

"For the first time I got to feel what it's like to have blood on my hands, because I thought somebody was killed. It didn't feel good," he told a crowd of close to 300. "Inside, my guts told me there's something wrong with this. You know, you might have killed somebody. Thank God, nobody was killed."

Shoebat has recruited two other former Islamic terrorists, who help wage his campaign against terrorism.
