Music Teacher Charged in Child Pornography Case, Released on Bond

Evans in custody Wednesday morning. Evans in custody Wednesday morning.

Joshua Evans, a 25-year-old music teacher at Saint Andrew's School, has been arrested on federal charges of attempted sexual exploitation of children and child pornography charges after a search of his Pooler home by the FBI, US Immigration, GBI, and Pooler Police Department.

Evans was held in jail overnight and released on a $50,000 bond after a federal hearing Wednesday morning.

The school's headmaster, Em Hubbard, sent an email to members of the St. Andrew's community, expressing shock and saying Evans will not be returning to the school.

WTOC was in court this morning and has arranged an interview with the school's headmaster. We'll have a full report tonight on THE News.
