Hilton Head Island Fire and Rescue Gets Top Honors

The Hilton Head Island Fire and Rescue Department is one of the top departments in the United States!

The Commission on Fire Accreditation International, Inc. accredited them for the second time in five years. The agency noted their excellent service, and their plan for continued improvement.

There are more than 30,000 fire departments in the nation, and Hilton Head Island's department is one of just 113 to earn accreditation.
