Police have arrested Tavone Reddick, 17, after he turned himself in this morning around 10am at Beach High School. He's accused of fatally shooting fellow Beach student Tre Walker, 15, this weekend.

His mother, Rozena Reddick, also turned herself in. She was questioned and released pending further investigation.

Police are still looking for Tavone's uncle, Emanuel Reddick, who they say was seen leaving the scene of the shooting Saturday. A SWAT team searched a house near Cranman Drive and Catherine Circle this morning, but found it empty.

Acting on a CrimeStoppers tip, police had converged on the house after finding what they believe are two vehicles used in the shooting parked there. Both have been processed for evidence.

Tavone's other uncle, Dartanya Maurice Bentley, was questioned and released early this morning.

Tavone Reddick is in the Chatham County jail on murder charges. He will be arraigned Wednesday.
