
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - This morning, a group of bicycle enthusiasts gathered in Johnson Square to announce their campaign to make Savannah more cyclist-friendly.
The bicycle advocacy organization called the Savannah Bicycle Campaign met in the square to announce their efforts to promote cycling as a means of alternative transportation, recreation and fun.
The organization has about a dozen goals including advocating for a safe route from Savannah to Tybee along Highway 80 and designing and locating bike racks throughout the community.
