Cadet wins Civil Air Patrol's highest honor

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - It's a good feeling when you get awarded for doing something you love.

Nobody knows that better than Cadet Master Sergeant David Jerome Twibell with the Civil Air Patrol. He received one of the patrol's highest honors Cadet of the year.

Family and friends watched as he received his colors for excellence in leadership, technical skills and volunteerism.

"It's amazing I love being in CAP," said Twibell. "I can't believe I got picked."

We here at WTOC would like to congratulate Twibell for his dedication to serving our community.
