PORT WENTWORTH, GA (WTOC) - Folks turned out for the Port Wentworth Fire Department's third annual Hay Day Festival.
People enjoyed fire truck tours, pumpkin painting, a halloween costume contest, music and more.
Firefighters say the event is a great way to unite the community.

"It's a great addition for the city of Port Wentworth," said director of leisure services Patrick Foran. "Our parents don't have to go down to River Street, or the Bay Street area, or anything like that. They're able to stay close to home and spend family time with their neighbors."
Organizers hope to do it again next year.
