Vaden Extra Mile Official Contest Rules

1. Promotion Description. This promotion is sponsored by WTOC, 11 THE News Place, 1511 Chatham Center Drive, Savannah, GA 31405 and Vaden Automotive Group, 9393 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31406 (collectively, "Sponsor(s)"). The promotion begins at noon Oct. 12, 2009 and ends at midnight July 14, 2010. Entries must be received by noon on July 13, 2010. Promotion is void where prohibited. Each person submitting a nomination accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules. Each winner must sign a release/affidavit of eligibility, stating, among other things, it qualifies under, and agrees to be bound by, these promotion rules.

2. Eligibility. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A winner must be a legal U.S. resident of the WTOC's viewing area who is 18 years of age or older or a group, organization, or team located in WTOC's viewing area. WTOC's viewing area consists of the following counties: A winning organization must be an organization or individual located in WTOC's viewing area, which is the following counties: Appling County, GA, Bacon County, GA, Brantley County, GA, Bryan County, GA, Bulloch County, GA, Candler County, GA, Chatham County, GA, Effingham County, GA, Emanuel County, GA, Evans County, GA, Glynn County, GA, Jeff Davis County, GA, Pierce County, GA, Liberty County, GA, Long County, GA, McIntosh County, GA, Montgomery County, GA, Screven County, GA, Tattnall County, GA, Toombs County, GA, Ware County, GA, Wayne County, GA, Beaufort County, SC, Hampton County, SC and Jasper County, SC.

WTOC, Vaden Automotive Group, and their affiliated companies are not eligible to be nominated or win this promotion. An employee of WTOC, Vaden Automotive Group, or their affiliated companies is not eligible to be nominated or win this promotion in his/her individual capacity. Anyone who makes a nomination must be 18 years of age at the time of the nomination. A weekly winner may be an individual, group, organization, or team that has gone the extra mile in the community.

3. How to Nominate. There are 2 ways to make a nomination for this promotion. Beginning at 12:01 PM, Tuesday Oct. 12, 2009, individuals can log on to www.wtoc.com and complete the online nomination form. Individuals can also make a nomination by obtaining a nomination form at Vaden Automotive, 9393 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31406 or any of the Vaden Dealerships in the WTOC viewing area and completing and mailing or delivering the nomination form to Vaden Automotive Group, 9393 Abercorn St., Savannah GA 31406. Nominations must be received by noon each Tuesday in order to qualify for the weekly selection (note, however, that the first selection will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009). Nominations that are not selected for the week are automatically re-entered for the remaining weekly selections - thus it is only necessary to make a nomination once for the entire promotion. The final weekly selection will occur on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 and nominations must be received by Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at noon to qualify for that final weekly selection. Nominations received after noon Tuesday, July 13, 2010 will no longer be accepted. All nominations become the property of Sponsor(s), and Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right to use any information submitted. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to omit any week(s) during this promotion. In the event a week is omitted, WTOC will post such information on its website.

Nominations must be filled out completely and legibly in order to qualify, and will be void if they are, in whole or in part, incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, counterfeit, altered, or obtained through theft or fraud. No mechanically reproduced, software-generated or other automated multiple nominations are permitted. Sponsor(s) is/are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated nominations, including due to transmission, technical, and/or network failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any hardware or software (whether originating with sender or Sponsor(s)), telephonic failures, human error, or any other error or malfunction.

Individuals submitting a nomination agree not to upload, post or transmit any materials which contain any computer viruses, Easter eggs, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful component or programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right to seek damages from any person who makes such attempt(s).

Nominations that have been tampered with or altered are void. Any questions regarding the authorized account holder of an e-mail address shall be determined by Sponsor(s) in its/their sole discretion, and Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right to disqualify any nominations by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the promotion.

Individuals submitting a nomination agree that WTOC-TV and the other Sponsor(s) of this promotion may provide such person with promotional materials and that WTOC-TV may release such person's personally identifiable registration information to the other Sponsor(s) for that purpose. WTOC-TV is not responsible for the use of such person's personally identifiable information by the other Sponsor(s).

4. Prizes. Each week one individual, group, organization or team that has gone the extra mile in the community will be selected by the Vaden Automotive Group as the most deserving based on the nominations received. The winner for that week will be awarded a $500 cash prize. No winner may win more than one cash prize in this promotion.

5. How the Prizes are Awarded. Each week during the promotion a winner is selected by representatives of the Vaden Automotive Group as the most deserving based on the nominations. All decisions by Vaden Automotive Group regarding the winner each week during this promotion are final and binding. Each winner will be notified by telephone and/or email.

6. Odds of Winning. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible nominations received.

7. Conditions of Acceptance of Prize. The winner individually or a representative of a winning group, organization, or team must accept the prize. Driver's license or other appropriate picture identification and, if applicable, proof of association with the group, organization, or team are required to claim a prize. The adequacy of such proof is within Vaden Automotive Group's discretion. The individual or representative will be required to execute and return a release and affidavit of eligibility on behalf of themselves or the group, organization, or team within 7 days of prize notification, or the prize will be forfeited. A winner must take possession of his or her prize at the time of signing the release/affidavit of eligibility or the prize will be forfeited.

Each winner will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes. Vaden Automotive Group will report winnings to the Internal Revenue Service, as required. The winners will receive a Form 1099 from Vaden Automotive Group.

Each person submitting a nomination and each winner agrees to the use of his/her/its name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each person submitting a nomination and each winner acknowledges that WTOC-TV, and all other sponsors and venues, have the right to publicize and broadcast their names, voices, and likenesses, the fact that the individual, team, organization, or team won, and all matters incidental thereto.

8. Limitation on Liability. Each person submitting a nomination and each winner forever discharges and releases Sponsor(s), its/their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with this promotion.

9. Sponsor's Reservation of Rights. These promotion rules are subject to modification by WTOC-TV-TV. In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by WTOC-TV are final and binding. Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right, in its/their sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with the nomination process or the operation of Sponsor's/Sponsors' web site(s), or who otherwise acts in violation of these promotion rules. Sponsor(s) further reserve(s) the right, in its/their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or modify this promotion if, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of completion as planned (including, but not limited to, for the following reasons: infection by computer virus, technical corruption, force majeure, or non-authorized human intervention that compromises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, security, or proper conduct of the promotion).

10. List of Winners. For a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Vaden Automotive Group, 9393 Abercorn St. Savannah GA 31406 or visit the website at wtoc.com between Oct. 23, 2009 and July 31, 2010.
