SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Talk about a blast from the past, with a little help for the future.
You remember the car, but what's it doing in Savannah?!
The Delorean, just like in the movie "Back to the Future", made a special appearance at the Savannah Theater. It's all part of a grass roots effort. Team Fox is raising awareness and money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research. The group is taking the time machine on a 50 state tour for the cause.
"Our grand plan is to hit every single state in the nation with the car, introduce the car and the effort to people, and our goal is to reach $1,000,000," said Oliver Holler.
People took turns taking pictures with the car, and gave donations to the cause.
