POOLER, GA (WTOC) - West Chatham Elementary School got a head start with a spooky celebration for some Halloween fun.
Families and friends came out for their annual trunk-or-treat Halloween bash. It gave hungry ghouls and ghosts a safe environment to trick their way into getting candy. But it was all for the kids.
"It's for the kids. It is nice coming and it's a family organization," said parent Heather Redd. She adds, "It allows my son to mingle with his teachers and his friends."
And no one walked away empty handed.
There are plenty of other events going on just like this all over town. For a complete list visit our Halloween events page.
