SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Rotary Club of Savannah took time honor veterans from World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. Several veterans shared their experiences from their time spent in the military.
Officials say all veterans, no matter their age, share a special bond.
"Many things have not changed," said HAAF garrison commander Lt. Col. Jose Aguilor. "Some of the stories, maybe the technology has changed, every time I hear them speak it's like I was there with my unit when I was in Iraq."
