SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Before you start preparing your dinner for Thanksgiving, take a step back and remember the people who helped make the holiday.

Tuesday, Boy Scouts with the Order of the Arrow, honored their legacy with a ceremonial dance. Dressed in traditional clothing they danced the dances of several different tribes from across the country.

"Different dances mean different things to different Indian tribes and just brought it all together to really give a good representation of Native American dance and culture," said Stephen Morrison.

Dances and events like this have been going on nationwide all month long.
