SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia National Guard held a change of command cememony Saturday afternoon.

All attendees said goodbye to retiring colonel Floyd Harbin, and welcomes the command of colonel Todd Freesemann.

The ceremony honored the many achievements of colonel Harbin.

While Harbin was in command, the Combat Readiness Training Center at the Air National Guard received more than 150 million dollars in technological upgrades and improvements.

"This experience over the last six years has been phenomenal," said colonel Harbin. "I just can't believe it, but it's really all about the individuals at the CRTC, not just the commander. He does nothing by himself. It's about the airmen in this country going to war for us to keep our freedom in this country."

After the ceremony, the group held a retirement luncheon for colonel Harbin and his family.
