SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - 80-year-old David J. Hesrick of Savannah was sentenced to two years in prison for his conviction on a charge of sexual exploitation of children.
A Chatham County Superior Court judge sentenced Hesrick to 10 years total on Thursday. He will spend two years in prison and the remaining eight on probation out of jail. The judge also convicted Hesrick on two counts of making false statements to police.
Officials say they found at least 15,000 images and 12 videos containing pornographic images of children on his computer.
