SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Delta Air Lines told officials at the Savannah/Hilton Head International that it will keep its lower fare structure in place for flights out of Savannah to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The airline began testing the lower fares in February.
Discounted prices for travel between Savannah and Atlanta include a seven-day advance purchase roundtrip fare for $300 and a walkup fare for $400, according to a Savannah airport news release. Some fares as low as $89 are available for flights bought farther in advance with limited travel periods.
The lower fare tickets are about a 40 percent discount over fares previously offered.
