GLENNVILLE, GA (WTOC) - The Glennville Dairy Queen is gearing up for another record fund-raiser. Everyone can help by buying a Blizzard and making miracles happen.
One dollar, or more, from every blizzard sold on Miracle Treat Day will help sick and injured children at the Backus Children's Hospital. Every year on Miracle Treat Day the Glennville Dairy Queen leads Georgia for the number of Blizzards sold.
Dairy Queen owner Zuber Malek got a head start serving Blizzards to people at Glenvue Nursing Home on Thursday.
"It's not good for our business. It's good for my heart and that's how I feel," Malek said. "I believe in doing to others what you like to have to yourself and I want somebody to bring me a Blizzard when I'm in a nursing home."
Join in for Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 5.
