SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Guardians of the Ribbon need your help in naming their next pink fire truck.

They want to name the truck after someone who has lost their battle with cancer. They're asking you submit your loved one's name and a short story about why you believe their name should be placed on the fire truck.

You can mail your submission to Guardians of the Ribbon P.O. Box 60955 Savannah, GA 31420 or email it to GOTRSoutheastGeorgiaChapter@comcast.net. The deadline is September 1, 2010.

The truck will debut September 11, 2010 at Liberty County Public Safety Day.

Guardians of the Ribbon is a group of firefighters, police officers and community leaders who are raising breast cancer awareness by driving pink fire trucks across the United States. For more details, check out the Guardians of the Ribbon on Facebook.
