STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - Police have charged Cory and Johnny Conley with 23 counts of entering autos and say they may not be finished yet. They've returned plenty of stolen property to victims but have this much left and can't identify it. The list includes guns, all types of electronics and more. Police say a few easy steps can keep you from being a victim yourself.

"Most of these thefts happened from unlocked cars so the easiest thing is to lock your car. These guys kept going because it was a crime of convenience," explained Statesboro Police Captain Scott Brunson.

If you have recently noticed items missing from your car that may have been stolen in or around the Gentilly Drive area, contact Detective Keith Holloway at 912.212.2306.
