Not one, but two, national championship teams returned to Savannah Sunday evening.
The Armstrong Atlantic men's tennis team and the AASU women's tennis team came home home with the hardware.
Two National Championship trophies. We can only guess that since the trophies made it from Houston to Savannah, that the flight attendants made room in the overheads!
The Pirates swept the NCAA Division II Championships on Saturday en-route to the men's first ever national title and the ladies 4th championship.
They arrived at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport to a warm reception from their family, friends and fans.
