NAACP essay contest winners

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - The Liberty County Branch of the NAACP education chairman Ms. Nicole Carter, announced the winners of the Black History Essay Contest at their Black History Program at Brewton Parker College.

The winners are:

1st Place - Marcus Barrett, Bradwell Institute

2nd Place - Leah Hayes, Snelson Golden Middle School

3rd Place - Darrius Adams, Lewis Frasier Middle School

Runner-up - Johnny Evans, Lewis Frasier Middle School

Runner-up - Deiondre Harris, Lewis Frasier Middle School. 

All of the winners received medals.
