Police: Grandmother and grandson victims of fatal bridge crash

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The names of the two victims killed in a three-car wreck on the Bull River Bridge have been released.

Savannah-Chatham police say 52-year-old Tina Washington and her 11-year-old grandson Alex Coleman from Savannah were killed.

Police are still investigating the cause of the wreck that closed the bridge for six hours Monday. Witnesses say a Chrysler Concorde driving westbound somehow collided with eastbound traffic hitting a Dodge Caravan and Ford van. See Car catches fire on Bull River Bridge.

The passengers in those vehicles were not hurt but all three vehicles did catch fire.
