Cabbage Casserole

1 sm. head cabbage - cut into bite size pieces

1 onion - chopped

1-1/2 sticks butter - melted (not margarine)

½ c mayonnaise

1 10.5 ounce can cream of celery soup

1 sleeve Ritz crackers - crushed

1 c grated cheddar cheese (can use more if desired)

Line bottom of casserole dish with cabbage.  Sprinkle with chopped onions and pour ½ stick melted butter over cabbage and onion. Mix mayonnaise and soup and spread over cabbage mixture.  Sprinkle with cheese, Ritz crackers and remaining 1 cup of butter. Bake 30-40 minutes @ 350°.
