Two Arrested in Alpharetta Home Invasion

ATLANTA (AP) - Alpharetta police arrested two men and searched for a third following a home invasion robbery that ended with a fiery crash at the intersection of English Avenue and Bankhead Highway in Atlanta.

Police say three masked men who broke into an Alpharetta family's home about 7 a.m. Sunday, tied them up and stole their SUV. In a police chase, the stolen vehicle crashed into a utility pole and iron gate in Atlanta.

Police arrested 18-year-old Damarkus Jamal Grier and 21-year-old Demarcus Graham, 21, both of Atlanta. A search for a third suspect continues.

The home invasion occurred in the Enclave at the Golf Club of Georgia subdivision, known for its million-dollar homes. The family was tied up, but unhurt.

Two suspects fled in the homeowner's black Cadillac Escalade.
