COBBTOWN, GA (WTOC) - Crews cleared trees from the sides of the road after a severe storm in Tattnall County brought them down over night. Besides the trees, we've heard reports of small sheds leveled as well. Eyewitnesses say the storm was short but intense.
"There was severe rain for 10 or 15 minutes, blowing rain and trees flapping over one another," said Hugh Williamson of Cobbtown.
Just last year, a tornado came through Cobbtown on Mother's Day and caused extensive damage.
